AAA Used Auto Sales-
3222 Tulane Ave., New Orleans, LA was found
guilty of committing a fraudulent act, misrepresenting terms
and conditions of a sale, purchase, or contract for sale or
purchase of a used motor vehicle, failure to remit sales
tax, and failure to maintain records.
Judgment for $4750.00 FINE, hearing cost, and
attorney fees.
Westside Wholesale- 5717 West Main St., Houma, LA was
found guilty of 18 counts of non delivery of title, failure
to submit sales report, and issuing temporary license tags
in violation of the law. Judgment for $5850.00 FINE,
hearing cost, and attorney fees.
Prospect Motors- 20323 Hwy.
167 Dry Prong, LA was found guilty of 5 counts of committing
a fraudulent act in selling, purchasing. And dealing in used
motor vehicles and/or misrepresenting the terms and
conditions of the sales, purchases, or contracts for sale or
purchase of used motor vehicles, failure to deliver titles
to consumers within time limitations, and 53 counts of
issuing temporary license tags in violation of the law. Judgment
for $50,000.00 FINE, to be suspended if Prospect Motors
assist in the delivery of certificates of title.
Sea
Hunt Boat Mfg. Company, Inc.- 2348 Shop Road Columbia,
SC was found guilty of canceling a dealer without providing
just cause and failure to give 90 day notice. Judgment
for $ 1500.00- stipulated agency order

Westgate Used Cars- 507 Ludwig, West Monroe, LA was
found guilty of 26 counts of failure to deliver certificates
of title to consumers within time limitations and 65 counts
of issuing temporary license tags in violation of the law.
Judgment for $58,800.00 FINE, hearing cost, and attorney
cost.

Auto Sales- 11760 South Harrells Ferry Road, Baton
Rouge, LA was found guilty of not operating from address
shown on his dealers license, not restriction location of
display of motor vehicles to the address on his dealers
license, 9 counts of issuing temporary tags or dealer tags
in violation of the law. Judgment for $1600.00 FINES,
hearing cost, and attorney fees.
